"The whole ceremony … from writing the letters to burning them and watching the ashes float into the ocean, to breaking the bowl and seeing the pieces scattered then rejoined again was a wonderful, tangible way of watching the the pieces of my Soul come back to me. Too often, as co-dependents, we freely give of ourselves, even when people don’t ask. Ego tells us we are ‘nurturing’…Spirit shows us how much depleting ourselves actually makes us weaker (and therefore more easily broken). Wendy performed sacred ceremony with me, cut cords that were thick and deep around me then held space for me as I let go of a lifetime of co-dependency that energetically crippled me. She witnessed the change in my aura after the last ashes of the letters I wrote to release myself from all that no longer served my highest good, washed out to sea, forever extinguished and destroyed.
